Dr. Radja Badji has more than ten years of international experience working closely with clinicians and scientists in academia and hospitals in the domain of biomedical informatics.
She holds a computer engineering degree from Algeria, Master and Ph.D. degrees in clinical informatics from University of Joseph Fourier and Master of public health from Lille University in France. Before joining QGP, she was a postdoctoral fellow for four years at the Center of Medical Informatics in Lille. During that period, she participated in many national and European projects related to knowledge representation, biomedical data analysis, and data governance.
Later, she was appointed as a postdoctoral fellow at Sidra Medical and Research center in Qatar. The objective of her research was to develop methods for efficient data integration between genomic and phenotypic data and models for data sharing in the biomedical domain.
Dr. Radja Badji joined Qatar Genome Programme (QGP) as a scientist on January 2017 and now is responsible for phenotypic and genomic data management and plays a central role in QGP initiative of genomic reporting.
